Lauren was contracted to the Department of Defence to provide professional procurement expertise, experience and leadership to implement category management contracts in the maritime sector.

During her time working for Defence, it quickly became apparent she was a highly efficient and effective procurement professional and was well experienced in leading and executing successful strategic contracts.

She is intelligent, has excellent analytical capabilities, is a very good communicator and presents effectively, with the ability to make her point and views clearly and determinedly when required.

I have engaged Lauren to provide leadership and deliver strategic procurement activity on two major projects that I have led in the Health and Defence sectors. Lauren was able to quickly develop a thorough understanding of the project requirements, build strong rapport with large stakeholder groups and develop and deliver strategies to achieve project outcomes in tight timeframes. I worked with Lauren during my time at Qantas. Lauren worked on some of the most high-profile contracts, managing a diverse group of stakeholders from Senior Executives to Operational staff. Lauren understands long term strategic thinking and how to operationalise those plans on a day-to-day basis. Lauren seeks to understand, asking questions to clarify, which contributes to her ability to collaborate with others.

Lauren managed complex projects, a shortened implementation timeline, and a complex implementation process. Lauren was able to enact a communications strategy and plan that kept all levels of the organisation informed of the process and what was expected of them through the process. Lauren’s excellent attention to detail, planning, negotiation skills, and diligence throughout the procurement process ensured the projects remained on track and on budget.

Brooke was employed for several years as a consultant. During this time Brooke was an exceptional member of our team and continuously delivered high quality outcomes. Brooke was seconded out to clients on several occasions to provide a range of support services including procurement advice, contract management support and supply chain assistance. I worked with Lauren for 5 years on the new Royal Adelaide Hospital Project and found her to be a dedicated and highly valued member of the team. She managed a large number of procurement projects simultaneously that included complex medical devices and systems. Lauren managed all time critical processes whilst maintaining crucial stakeholder communications. When any issues arose, she would attend to these promptly and thoroughly.
